Farewell Dinner, pt. 2

Clara, where's your peace sign?
More importantly, where's your left hand?
This is such a great picture!
I really hope I get to go back to Japan soon because I really miss my friends.

Second Dinner (WTH?!?)

Couldn't figure out for the life of me why we went for a full-fledged second dinner after our farewell dinner at the hospital? But hey, it was delicious!
Plus, it's midnight and we're so tired we're up for anything!

Karaoke! pt. 1

It's really late. We've had two dinners. This can only mean karaoke!
I assist Matt with the song Mikan No Uta by The Sex Machineguns!
It looks like Brooke is doing her impression of a QVC hand model:
Now lets look at the spring collection of watches and accessories for the ladies.

Can you spot Goma?

By the way, I have included the video of the song Matt and I sang. Mikan means orange in Japanese and the band is called The Sex Machineguns because they're like The Sex Pistols, only more hardcore. #$%^ yeah!

Karaoke! pt. 2

Us singing Piano Man by Billy Joel.
Well, I won't call what I was doing singing but the mood was just right.

Ryoko had to duck out early (I think it was only 3 am) so we said goodbye.
The show must go on!
There are only four people on this planet that will get why this pic is funny so I am not even going to explain.

Just trust me, it's a #$%ing riot!

The Last Hurrah!

At 4-something in the morning we're ready to call it a night!
The next morning at the Shinkansen station was a bit too emotional so this is our last pic with our friends.
Ibad, you're too emotionally sensitive. Japan was a lot of fun but look at me, I came back and haven't looked back since.

Since all establishments have areas right outside for people to stow their umbrellas, I decided to leave my umbrella behind in Hiroshima as a parting gift. I bet you can tell which umbrella is mine. Yes, I know size DOES matter (in the case of umbrellas).

Back in Tokyo, Adam and I went on a walk to find dinner and a bunch of Power Rangers (I never thought I would say this but God, I hope they were Power Rangers!) ran up to us, formed a circle around the two of us, and started running around us. When we whipped out our (easy there!) cameras, they immediately stopped and struck this pose! A perfect ending to our time in Japan.

Conclusion

Well, I hope everyone enjoyed this blogmoir and perhaps learned some interesting things.

I intend to visit Japan again soon (especially now that I can fly to Tokyo for free). If you wish to see a country that has an extremely rich history (there are things that happened before 1776, you know), customs and cultures that are quite different, delicious food, and all the technology that you would expect, please let me know and I'll inform you when I plan to go back to Japan.

I am sure we can even talk Gabe in to going somehow :)

Sayonara,

Ibad
